The Proposal Specialist is responsible for coordinating and developing practice-specific proposals and other marketing and business development materials. This hands-on position will play a key role in proposal development activities fully supporting the Marketing team and leading the team through a winning proposal. Primary Job responsibilities: Lead most proposals and RFx responses for designated practice areas. Serve as secondary proposal professional on high-profile and preferred provider RFx responses as assigned. Ensure all data gathering and processing for the firm’s proposals and pitches are accurate, consistent. Actively collaborate with partners, marketing managers, and other key team members to develop clear, compelling, winning proposals. Follow the firm’s proposal processes and work to refine and improve.Assist in drafting and editing proposal templates, as well as maintain the templates and disclosure requirements on firm wide and regional pitch book elements such as client names, profiles, experience lists, attorney biographies. Maintain centralized proposal management database system and support compilation, analysis, and reporting of various metrics. Develop, organize and manage content for proposal documents within the firm’s proposal generator tool. Work with design to develop creative and information graphics. Participate in regular meetings. Develop and present activity reports that summarize activity, success rate and progress on initiatives.
