Duties include, and are not limited to:
Plans, coordinates, implements, and is responsible for all aspects of client seminars and entertainment events nationwide, as well as other specialist activities associated with the firm's business development initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and securing venue and catering options, creating and distributing invitations, development, reviewing and managing invitation lists, and managing internal and external RSVPs / name tags. Manages event costs to a budget.
Handles all logistics and details associated with the firm's sponsorship of several industry conferences.
Plans, coordinates, implements and is responsible for all aspects of firm-wide off-site event planning and logistics for all-attorney and bi-annual partner meetings, including location, meal, transportation and AV needs.
Attends and provides on-site support during seminars, receptions, events to manage registration and other on-site logistics. Conducts pre-event strategy and post-event debrief sessions, including detailed financial recap and coordination of follow-up strategies.
Builds and maintains relationships with event, conference and production vendors and co-sponsorship partners.
Participates on internal Minneapolis employee events committee.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar business-related field required.
5+ years related corporate event planning experience required.
Proficiency wiwth Microsoft Office Suite required.
Experience with CRM and electronic event management tools a plus.
Professional services industry experience strongly preferred, law firm preferred.
