The successful candidate will work with Marketing and IP Department leadership and lawyers nationwide on a wide range of marketing and business development projects and initiatives, primarily in the creation, coordination, and management of marketing initiatives and supporting materials. Prior experience working with intellectual property attorneys is highly desirable.
The position will report to the Director of Business Development and will work collaboratively with marketing colleagues on relevant firmwide and cross-practice projects and initiatives. This role can be based in our Philadelphia or Atlanta office.
Responsibilities include preparing RFP responses and other proposals, research and analysis, helping devise and execute marketing plans for the IP department and it’s 3 practice groups (IP Litigation, Patents and Trademarks and Copyrights), coordinating marketing efforts, working with the Ballard events, operations and communications teams to coordinate and oversee events and other activities, and assisting with the development of the IP marketing budgets.

Some travel is required.
