Hunton & Williams LLP, a global law firm, is actively recruiting a Marketing & Communications Manager. This position provides oversight for the execution of marketing and communication strategies, both internally and externally, for an array of firmwide initiatives. These include, but are not limited to, overseeing the firm’s internal communications publishing platform (eHunt) under the direction of the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, supporting executive firmwide communications of all types, liaising with and supporting the PR function as needed, and serving as project manager for work for a multitude of internal constituencies, including finance/pricing/legal project management, diversity, pro bono, practice management and training.
Additionally, this position works collaboratively with staff and the broader Marketing and Client Development group to ensure the firm’s business development and marketing needs are efficiently met and communication occurs across offices and teams. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with other functional departments within the firm. Ensures ease of access, clarity and consistency of firm communications through a range of channels.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of management experience in a professional services or other client relationship-based organization. Law firm experience preferred. Candidates must have strong project management skills; excellent communications skills, both oral and written, able to work and perform under strict deadlines; have strong multi-tasking capabilities; and be able to work with all levels of people within the organization. Strong knowledge of design programs.
Other Minimum Qualifications Include: Travel may be required. Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications. Strong commitment to client service excellence and teamwork. Must possess the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. Must act as catalyst for change, drive and own results. Visual acuity needed to process and read extensive written communications. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication.
