Proposal Coordinator - Atlanta, Chicago, Denver or St. Louis
The Firm is currently recruiting for a Proposal Coordinator to be resident in our Atlanta, Chicago, Denver or St. Louis office.

The Proposal Coordinator will work closely with the Proposal Manager and the firm's global proposal teams. The Proposal Coordinator's main tasks will be to draft, coordinate, and project manage proposals across the US region. S/he will also be expected to play a key role in supporting multi-regional and global proposal opportunities, working in consultation with their global counterparts. This is a challenging and exciting role that will involve face-time with partners and their teams. The team's ultimate goal is to significantly improve the firm's proposal conversion rate by delivering well-run proposal processes and promoting best practices throughout all stages.

 

Responsibilities
  •  Project manage proposals, including organizing and facilitating meetings and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
•  Scope opportunities by undertaking client, sector and competitor research that will help make informed proposal/no proposal decisions.
•  Create high-quality, tailored pitch content and documentation that adds value by bringing energy, ideas, creativity and boldness to the shaping of proposals.
•  Gather and track insightful proposal feedback to improve the way that Dentons pursues proposal opportunities.
•  Maintain records of opportunities and their status to ensure that we produce timely production reports.
•  Maintain high quality proposal content on the firm's global proposal generator.
•  Draft announcements of significant wins to be communicated internally, as needed
•  Help maintain the firm's panel appointments records.
•  Keep up to date with best practices in the marketplace.
•  Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.


Specific Requirements
  Qualifications
  •  2-5 years of proposal experience working in a professional services environment.
•  Demonstrates creativity, and project management skills.
•  Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
•  Ability to manage a number of tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
•  Ability to work within a diverse team and work cohesively in order to achieve high quality results.
•  Being able to adapt and deliver on top priorities is crucial.
•  Innovative and outside-the-box thinker.
•  Knows the subject matter and presents confidently in front of internal clients, large groups, and people from all backgrounds.
