Marketing Coordinator
Marketing Coordinator for Mid-Size Law Firm

We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist in the following areas:

  • Marketing/Business Development - Customize business development and proposals for presentation; Assist in writing, proofing and editing attorney bios, promotional and communications materials; Assist in providing support, guidance, review and editing for attorney-developed PowerPoint presentations; Draft, edit and distribute press releases, email campaigns and other firm news; Coordinate day-to-day marketing requests and activities of the firm; Manage inventory system for all firm marketing items, including collateral materials and supplies; Maintain, manage and update firm's marketing database, contact mailing lists, e-mail distribution groups, invitation/guests lists and all prospective/network related information; Monitor key industry-related websites to track trends; Schedule and maintain attorney's and firm's calendar of speaking engagements, marketing appointments and other marketing events; Track pitch meeting successes to measure ROI; Investigate opportunities for legal awards/nominations.
  • Website - Oversee and manage firm's website, content, presence on internet and social media accounts, including general, routine updates; Coordinate, implement and update Web site postings as needed, Update attorney bios as needed.
  • Public Relations - Develop, implement and measure marketing plans for assigned practice-group initiatives that align with strategic goals; Gather news from internal sources; draft, edit and distribute press releases, email campaigns and other firm news; Monitor key media/social outlets for news regarding the firm, clients or cases;
  • Event Planning - Plan, organize, attend and oversee firm marketing events; Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors/contacts and evaluating, negotiating and implementing partner relationships; Facilitate pre/post-event promotion, Coordinate copy and design direction for event materials.
  • Miscellaneous - Research and investigation of potential events for BCM to participate in such as dinners, seminars, Bar association events; Contact law schools/websites regarding posting of job opportunities; Coordination of attorney/client meetings and calendars; Coordinate firm and practice group sponsorships; Coordinate firm and attorney-related award submissions; Monthly substantive update from all practice groups.

Specific Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One year of marketing and/or business development experience in a professional services organization preferred
  • Graphic design and/or website creation preferred
  • Social-media literacy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office  and PowerPoint
  • Prior law firm experience a plus
